Using Patient Feedback to Direct Design

Patient Feedback

Insights gathered from data are shaping many business decisions these days and interior design with regards to healthcare is no different. Hospitals can survey patients on their experience and use the feedback to prioritize the design and service elements offered.

Using data gathered from patient surveys is a great way for hospital designers to better understand the needs of their patients. Of course not all patients are going to have the same needs but gathering useful information helps designers make a better informed decision on the what the design priorities might be.

The next time you are asked to take a customer survey no matter what it’s for, remember that the data used mindfully should improve your experience next time.
