Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany

The Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany is a wellness center in New Albany, Ohio which aims to improve the health of the community by bringing together multiple healthcare services under one roof.  The difference of this center from others is that it was created by a partnership between Healthy New Albany (a nonprofit organization), The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, rather than from a single organization.

The first floor has a fitness center for members, which includes a lap pool.  The second floor has clinical and rehabilitation services from Wexner, including primary care, integrated medicine, sports medicine, and physical therapy.  Nationwide Children’s provides sports medicine, orthopedic services, and educational programs for younger patients and their families.

Healthcare Design Magazine has an article and photos on this facility which opened in the spring.  To view the photos and read the article in its entirety, click here.
