The New Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas is opening on August 20th.    Replacing the existing facility which was built in 1957, it is 2.1 million square feet and is expected to have 30,000 people passing through its doors each day.  There are 862 beds and cost $1.33 billion to build.
