Recently, we have been giving a lot of attention to designing open spaces that can be used for multiple purposes in the healthcare environment. Multipurpose rooms are trendy in healthcare design because it is a way for hospital staff to make their work space smarter.

The cutouts in the wall are furnished with soft easy chairs offering parents privacy and protection from noise to sit and wait while their children play.
The open floor plan is easy for hospital staff to disinfect and keep clean and offers kids a great place to spread out and distract themselves from any anxiety about their hospital visit.
Multipurpose rooms are becoming more and more popular in the healthcare environment for many reasons but mostly because they squeeze the most out of space and offer flexibility for hospital staff to utilize their space as they see fit.
