Aiyuhua Hospital for Children and Women in Beijing

The first privately owned pediatric hospital in Beijing, the Beijing Aiyuhua Hospital for Children and Women, opened its doors in December, 2014.  Focusing on family-centered care, they offer prenatal care, obstetrics, maternity monthly stay service, pediatrics, and child health management. The hospital offers 310 beds, including 230 pediatric inpatient beds, 10 labor and delivery recovery beds, 25 postpartum patient beds, and 45 maternity monthly stay beds.

The lobby features light streaming in from the large expanse of glass. The glass is etched with images of bamboo, a nod to the Chinese culture. The lobby ceilings are high, with acoustical ceiling tile to reduce noise in the large public space. Photo: Blake Marvin/HKS Inc.
