Reno Ronald McDonald House invites the community to celebrate its kitchen renovation. The kitchen was designed by Wikoff Design Studio. Several groups in the community volunteered came to make the redesign possible.


RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) — Reno Ronald McDonald House representatives, RMHC Northern Nevada is inviting members of the community to celebrate the successful completion of its kitchen renovation, a project that represents the community’s willingness to volunteer materials, time and expertise.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. at 323 Maine St. on January 22nd.

The kitchen will be dedicated to the memory of Steve Brennan, whose legacy of support for the Reno House is responsible for more than $1.34 million in donations since 2000.

In addition, RMHC® Northern Nevada is recognizing volunteers who have cooked for several years for the House’s Chef Program, which provides home-cooked meals to guest families.

Tours will be available to attendees interested in learning more about the organization’s services for families in the region.
