Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine

In October, 2014, the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine on the University of Connecticut Health Center campus opened its doors.  This facility was built in order to research personalized treatments for cancer, diabetes, immunology, neurodegenerative disorders, and microbiology based on information derived from an individual’s genome.  Healthcare Design Magazine has a photo tour and an article on this facility and the challenges that went into designing and building it.  To view the photos and read the entire article, click here.
