I was reading Healthcare Design Magazine as I often do and I ran across an article that features the latest addition to Acibadem Healthcare Group. It is too beautiful not to share. Below are some of the project photos and some excerpts from the article. Enjoy.
Acibadem Healthcare Group
The latest addition to Acibadem Healthcare Group, one of Turkey’s largest healthcare organizations, is a 1 million-square-foot hospital built on a tight, sloping site in one of the oldest and most heavily populated districts in the Altunizade region of Uskudar in Istanbul.
Project planning began in fall 2012 on what became Acibadem Altunizade Hospital, with a price tag of $200 million including land, construction, and medical equipment. Some of the features include a beautiful lobby, private patient rooms and stellar play area for kids.

The lobby was finished with brushed stainless steel columns, wood veneer wall coverings, polished stone flooring, and polished steel ceilings.
Private Patient Rooms
Private inpatient rooms feature luxury vinyl tile flooring, cove lighting, and large windows to provide views to the outdoors.
Pediatric Reception
The hospital’s pediatric reception and waiting area is separate from the adult area and features interactive toys and technologies.
