Bar, Bites, Bowling: Shelter Opens in Downtown Reno
Friday, April 10th marked the official opening on Reno’s newest hot spot, Shelter.
The bar-meets-grill-meets bowling alley, is in the basement of the old Woolworth’s building in downtown Reno.
The owner, Jamy Keshmiri named the venue “Shelter” because when he first saw the empty basement in the old Woolworth’s building, it looked like a bomb shelter. Now, the new hot spot is a blend of nightclub and a bomb shelter, bowling alley and sports bar.
Marie Wikoff of Wikoff Design Studio helped design the newest entertainment venue with construction by Alex Hose of Tico Construction. The photos below were taken by Vance Fox.
