Healing Art Helps Renown Patients

Healing is more than getting quality medical care — it’s about the heart, the mind and the spirit. Renown Health understands that during a patient’s most difficult moments, art can be a source of inspiration, comfort and strength.
Last year, Renown Health held:
- 340 live public performances
- 568 bedside art sessions
- 740 hours of performances
- 2000 bedside music sessions
- 12 Reno Chamber orchestra concerts
- 13 Certified therapy dogs
- 1200 pieces of original art
- Incorporating the healing powers of nature with a healing garden and sculptures
Since 2008, Renown has installed 1,500 original works of art and 1,500 fine art posters to enhance their healing environments.You can view all original works of art on the online gallery.
