The images here are of the Royal Children’s Hospital. They were taken by Shannon McGrath. The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is a major children’s hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

The hospital is surrounded by the parkland of Royal Park, with views of trees and lots of natural light. The location and the contemporary art inside help make this a healing environment for kids.

Evidence Based Research has proved that an environment filled with art, natural light, and nature contribute to the bodies ability to heal. Here, themes representing nature are displayed in graphics throughout the Royal Children’s Hospital along with contemporary sculptures that spark the imagination.
